CabotFest has been part of Cabot since 1978, and in 2026 it returns to Downtown Cabot for three days, October 8–10. The event brings together live music, carnival rides, local vendors, food, activities, and plenty of people spending time in the middle of town.

When Is CabotFest 2026?

CabotFest 2026 is scheduled for October 8 through October 10 in Downtown Cabot.

The Cabot Area Chamber of Commerce says this year’s festival will include three days of activities, with Matt Stell headlining Saturday night, along with performances from Cliff & Susan and Jettway Performance. Vendors are scheduled for Saturday, October 10, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There’s also a new CabotFest Classic 5K and 1-Mile Cricket Crawl scheduled for Saturday morning, October 10, near the festival grounds.

Of course, schedules can change, so check the Cabot Area Chamber of Commerce before heading out.

What Is CabotFest Like?

Think less “huge destination festival” and more “Cabot showing up for Cabot.”

You’ll find food vendors, carnival rides, music, booths from businesses and organizations, and activities spread through the downtown area. Past CabotFest events have also included some of the traditions that give the festival its own personality—including the cricket spitting contest.

And that mix is part of what makes the event useful if you’re considering living here.

You aren’t just seeing an attraction created for tourists. You’re seeing local businesses, organizations, residents, city spaces, and community traditions occupying the same few blocks.
